Hello, I’m Alisha, the founder of Breakthrough Horsemanship. Horses have been a part of my story for many years, carrying me on unforgettable adventures—from riding through the rugged Badlands of North Dakota, to crossing waterfalls in the Boston Mountains of Arkansas, and now exploring Arizona’s Tonto National Forest. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of training under industry professionals in a variety of disciplines, each offering me something new to learn and share.
At Breakthrough Horsemanship, my mission is to create experiences that go beyond the arena. I offer equine homeschooling classes, corporate retreats, and private riding lessons. Whether you’re a student discovering life lessons through horses, a professional team seeking growth outside the office, or an individual wanting to deepen your horsemanship, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
As a Catholic Christian, I strive to focus on what is good, true, and beautiful—and horses continually bring me back to those things. Working with them offers countless opportunities to grow in virtues like fortitude, humility, and hope. These lessons don’t just strengthen us in the barn; they also shape and strengthen our souls.
When I’m not at the ranch, you’ll often find me at Mass, hiking new trails, or spending time with friends and family. Adventure and connection are what fuel me, and I love helping others discover that same joy through their own experiences with horses.
